God has in these last days, spoken to us through His Son.
Hebrews 1:1-2 KJV
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Many believers struggle to tell the difference between the voice of God and other voices. Sometimes we think God is speaking because there’s a bible verse mentioned.
Our Father has in times past, that is before the cross, spoken to his people through prophets. The prophets taught and prophesied according to the old covenant law, but now God has and is speaking to us through the finished work of the Son on the cross. We can now know when God is speaking to us because it is weaved and filtered through the cross. That means now you are at peace with God. He is not angry with you because Jesus consumed all the anger and wrath on the cross. The Father is now pleased with you based on the finished work of the cross.
Any word that comes to you without recognising what happened at the cross is not from God.
